Holy Communion, said according to the Book of Common Prayer
Parish Eucharist, sung, according to Order One of Common Worship. The church’s main service of the week, in modern language. Modified several times a year for ‘All Age’ services which are designed with children particularly in mind.
During the first part of the service each week, young children (with or without their parents) meet for Playchurch in the Institute (church hall opposite the church), and join the main congregation at the Peace. Alternatively, children are equally welcome in church throughout the whole service; toys and books are kept near the font, and a refuge for nappy changing etc is available in the vestry with toilet adjacent.
After the service, tea, coffee, biscuits and chat are provided in the Institute.
Sung evensong (Book of Common Prayer).
Usually includes a short sermon, or sometimes a meditation or reading of poetry.
Mon – Fri, 9.15 am
Said in the chancel; enter via the vestry
On Tuesday Team coffee mornings (usually the second Tuesday of the month) morning prayer is replaced by Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) at 9.15 am
